With just 6 laps left Matt Kenseth, Brad Keslowski, Jeff Gordon and Joey Lagano. battle for the lead. Joey Lagano came out on top. 9 cautions for 66 laps..Lagano is now the second driver with 2 wins in the Race for the Chase

NASCAR - Darlington - Bojangles Southern 500 - Saturday night racing... first I have got to say all Cup races should be run on Saturday night, Love that night racing.. Racing all around the track for positions, lots of  green flag racing. Kevin Harvick by far had the car to beat,being the first one to win from the pole here since 1997, done by Dale Jarrett. Two green, white, checkered runs made for an exciting finish

Didn't get to watch today (had to work)... but I did get to listen to it... Only 7 cautions, the first one coming just 1 and 1/2 laps after the green flag flew and the last coming 1 and 1/4 laps before the checkered flag... Dale Earnhardt Jr. hit the grass and then the wall bursting into flames rendering him a 43rd place finish and losing 5 positions in the points standing.
Joey Lagano is the 7th different winner in 7 races this year.. Who will be the first repeat winner...
