NASCAR - Richmond

Good Morning All.
Night race last night, good racing.
Congrats to Denny Hamlin for the win in front of his hometown. He knows how to run Richmond, he always runs strong out front, it's about time the ending laps were good to him. Kudo's Denny and the FedEx team!!!
Kyle Busch haters must be celebrating today that he didn't make the chase. He made a good run, but Vickers was more hungry than him, what a great showing for the #83 Red Bull team, Vickers drove his heart out. Congrats Brian on making the chase.
New names in chase this year, Vickers and Montoya, consistent year this year for the both of them, giving them the chance of winning the championship.
Hendrick Motorsports has 3 cars in this year, #5 Martin, #24 Gordon and #48 Johnson. And what about Stewart/Haas Racing has both cars, #14 Stewart and #39 Newman (checkout his paint scheme next race same colors as Earnhardt) in the chase their first year out Kudos guys
Roush Fenway Racing ended up with just 2 cars, #16 Biffle and #99 Edwards in the chase this year.
Five single car team in the chase, Penske Racing-#2 Kurt Busch, Richard Petty Motorsports-#9 Kahne, Joe Gibbs Racing-#11 Hamlin, Earnhardt/Ganassi Racing-#42 Montoya and Red Bull Racing-#83 Vickers.

I see NASCAR made up a new rule last night. Telling Michael Waltrip if one more tire gets away from the team they will be doing their pit stops in the garage area. They just make the rules up as they go along. Put them in a rule book at the beginning of the year and don't change them during the year. Be more consistent NASCAR, get with it.

The Chase begins next week at Loudon, New Hampshire. Good Luck to all contenders and have fun and safe racing.
Everyone have a safe week
I wish you enough

NASCAR - Atlanta

Hello All
What an exciting race last night. Atlanta under the lights can't get much better than that. I love night racing, they just seem to be so much more fun to watch and so much more of a challenge for the teams and the drivers. Their car can be hooked up one moment and junk the next. The team that can keep up with track will win the race.
Congrats Kasey Kahne excellent job.
All the drivers were dirt trackin it around the track at one time or another. Jimmy Johnson and Kyle Busch were so loose it was exciting to watch them control those cars.
Dale Jr. had a good run up until that last pit stop, I don't know what they did but they might have been better off staying out and taking a chance on old tires cause they were coming to the front before they got those new tires.
All in all great racing.
More night races NASCAR
See you all

NASCAR - let's talk

Hello All
No cup race this weekend. What am I to do?
Let's discuss the COT cars. NASCAR thinks these COT cars are sooooo safe, I beg to differ.
The front splitter is a good place to start. These are dangerous. As many of you die hard fans have witness when that splitter hits a tire there is no doubt it is going to cut that tire, resulting most of the time in a crash. How is this safe? It's not like it is difficult for the splitter to hit a tire, they stick out of the side of the car. This would not occur with the "Stock Cars" because the nose of the car was flat, not some sharp object sticking out 2 inches. NASCAR you need to remove this splitter from the front of the car so the drivers can RACE not just ride around hoping they can get their car up front. The pass few races have proven that as long as your car is out front, in first, you can pull away from the field.
Listen to the fans NASCAR and make these car more raceable.
Don't keep trying to slow them down. RACING is SPEED. The drivers drive because of their love for speed.
Let's here it fans, tell NASCAR what you want to see. This is the most exciting sport in the world, let's keep it that way.

NASCAR Bristol

Hello
NIGHT Racing is the best. I love Bristol at night
Rowdy Busch did it, I was so pulling for Mark, but they made it exciting at the end and Busch raced Mark the way Mark races everyone, he earned it. Good Job
Dale Jr. did alright. He needs Tony Jr. back. I don't like this Lance McGrew guy. He is not the crew chief that Tony Jr. is. but all in all at least they had a decent finish.
The racing at Bristol as always was great to watch.

NASCAR - Recap

Hello All. I'm sorry I have not been here in a while. Missed Indy, Pocono, Watkins Glen and Michigan.
Indy - Congrats Jimmy can't take anything away from you and Chad. You guys are unbelievable every race. As we say up north you can step in SH-- and come our smellin like a rose.
Pocono - Denny , Gibbs Racing is struggling this year. Those Toyotas are kicking in and kicking their ass
Watkin Glens - Tony you are amazing this year. It is clear you are putting your heart and sole into your venture this year and it is paying off.
Michigan - Brian you took a chance and it paid off. Dale Jr. great showing you were flying. As for your final pit stop, the announcers obviously weren't listening to your radio and misconscrewed what you said when you told Lance McGrew "I don't understand your logic" They didn't hear Lance tell you to stay out until you needed to come in. or you say why don't I come in now. They are given Lance the credit for your 3rd place finish and you are the one that deserves it.
I want Tony Eury Jr. back as your crew chief, you two are good together. It isn't the crew chief, it is the cars. You will get a handle on them soon.
Glad someone is finally speaking out about the New NASCAR , i agree with you the double file restarts are great, but they need more. MY OPINION, bring the stock cars back, get ride of those fabricated THINGS.
Anyway - BRISTOL - I love this racing and can't wait til tonight
Enjoy the racing tonight all

NASCAR - Daytona and Chicagoland

Hello again, been awhile since I posted, not that it really matters I don't have any followers, except for Jim once in while, not turning out the way I thought it would, the internet isn't as easy as everyone wants you to believe. Guess I will be waiting a little longer to make my dream come true. Anyway enough whining (just trying to be a Rusty Wallace/Jeff Gordon).
Daytone race was a good one. Kyle Busch has got to get a handle on his aggressiveness, he is now taking himself out. Nothing good comes in blocking, it hasn't worked this year yet.
Great job Tony, I'm impressed with your year this year. My heart is with Earnhardt, but I find myself pulling for you every week. Keep it up, you are a true champion and am proving it every time you get on the track. Kyle Busch on the other hand is a little brat. Poor baby has a bad race and goes and cries in his motorhome. (turning out to be a young Rusty Wallace).

Last night Chicagoland - Mark, you are amazing. Racing is in your blood. You are what makes racing great. You show those youngsters it's talent like yours that makes this sport as great as it is. You are NASCAR and everything it stands for.
Another great race this year.
Love those double file restarts. Makes for great racing, like back in the old days.
See you all
