NASCAR -Daytona-Coke Zero 400

NASCAR-Daytona - Coke Zero 400 - Well NASCAR has once again succeeded in pissing me off. I cannot believe I have to write this blog after just 112 laps of the race. This race should not have been called for rain until at least 6:00 pm this evening. I also feel if Aric Almirola had not been the leader it would not have been called. So now instead of just a rain shorten race headline, the big headline that the  #43 car has gone to victory circle once again in Daytona EXACTLY 30 years from the day Richard Petty won his last race. Imagine that!!! Two "big ones" left only 20 cars on the lead lap and not many more in the race. The top ten finishers were not the usual names you see week in and week out, no drivers in the top ten in points finished in the top ten and only 3 drivers in Chase finished in the top ten and only 2 drivers that already has a win, Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin, finished in the top ten. Very mix em up, unusual day.
Congratulations Aric Almirola!!!
