Bristol-Food City 500

Bristol - Food City 500 in Support of Steve Byrnes - Stand up to Cancer. What a great cause and so touching how theses drivers respect Steve Byrnes. Prays are with you Steve. 

As always wrecks and spins all night long, just racing though. Not really any hot heads or real upset drivers, most cautions were simply "accidents". I was wondering if the spotters were falling asleep, seems to me had they been paying attention and couple of drivers could have avoided being in any of the cautions, namely Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick. 3 rain delays, made this spring race a night race. Myself all races should be night races. Matt Kenseth finally gets a win after not winning at all last year. Danica Patrick had a great run, finishing in 9th. My son says to watch her, she will be the first woman to win a Cup race and be in the chase. Finding herself in the 13th position, her diligent and persistence seems to be paying off.

Texas-Duck Commander 500

Texas - Duck Commander 500 - Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick sound familiar. I think we will see a lot of these names this year. Kevin Harvick is out to prove he is the defending champion. He is just unstoppable, Finishing 1st or 2nd in every race, with the exception of Martinsville where he finished 8th he is on fire. Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards finally enter the top 16 with a 7th and 10th place finish today.
