Talladega-Geico 500

Talladega - Geico 500 - Not the most exciting race, but Dale Earnhardt Jr. WON and that is exciting to me. When they were racing two and three wide, that was exciting, but alot of the race came down to follow the leader. There were some good passing moves when they were mixing up. A few people lead laps, but the Hendricks cars were hard to beat. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson logged 97 of the laps, with Dale Jr. leading the most with 67, making up 164 of the 188 laps. Rookie Ryan Blaney finished 4th proving his qualifying laps was no fluke. Sam Hornish Jr. finished 7th and Josh Wise 10th two newcomers to the top 10.

Richmond - Toyota Owners 400
Saturday night moved to Sunday. Kurt Busch dominated this race. He had the car to beat. Kevin Harvick finished second, imagine that. Danica Patrick was involved in numerous incidents rendering her a 25th finish. Dale Jr. wasn't very happy with Tony Stewart toward the end of the race, but not elaborating on why. He and Tony were involved in a racing incident that put Tony out of the race and injured Jr. slightly.
